Our Story
Udderless was created to ensure we were being inclusive for the vegan and dairy-free diners at my restaurant, The Hop Craft Pizza & Beer in Richmond, VA. We wanted to make sure we had menu options to accommodate everyone from all walks of life. After one of our favorite vegan cheese producers ceased operations, I began to experiment with making my own, and Udderless was born. And now we’d like to bring it to you.
People have commented that it is the best-tasting vegan pizza they have ever had, and the only pizza their non-vegan partner will willingly eat. Our plant-based cashew “cheese” tastes, melts, and stretches just like real cheese, we use naturally-leavened dough and fresh produce, and all of our pizzas are made by hand. Because we feel this is how real pizza was intended to be made. Our mission is to bring restaurant-quality craft pizza to the bake-at-home plant-based and vegan segment and promote inclusivity by offering something for everyone.
